Hello Hope Highlands school community,
The CPS Visual Arts Department will be hosting Artsfest from March 13 to March 28 at the Cranston Public Library, 140 Sockanosset Crossroads, Cranston. Please stop by to see Hope Highlands artwork on display!
HHMS Fundraiser Raffle:
A letter and packet has gone home with your child in regard to our upcoming raffle fundraiser and the great prizes available! Our 6th and 7th grade students received 10 tickets and if they are able to sell 6 or more of these tickets it will result in them having no expense to attend the Inquiry Trip (except the cost of a bagged lunch).
Our 8th grade students received 20 tickets and if they are able to sell 15 or more of these tickets it will result in them having no expense to attend the Inquiry Trip (except the cost of a bagged lunch). Just to clarify, the 8th grade field trip is a much bigger expense then the 6th and 7th grade trips, which is why the 8th graders will need to sell more tickets in order to defray the cost of this trip.
We would like every student to try to sell all their tickets, and any student who does, will be entered into a raffle for a catered lunch with the principal and 3 friends of their choice.
If students choose not to sell their tickets, they should sign the front page of their envelope and return all the unsold tickets as soon as possible to their team teachers. All students are responsible to bring back unsold tickets.
HHMS High School Musical Production:
Our school Drama Club will be presenting High School Musical on Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 pm and two shows on Saturday, March 24th (12:30 pm and 7:00 pm). Please see attached flyer.
HHMS Tennis Club:
There will be an informational meeting for any student interested in participating on the HHMS Tennis Club on March 27th at 2:40 pm. More specific information will be sent out soon.
Students have been working hard on their projects and we are all very excited about next week’s presentations. An invitation went home with every student about the specific location of where your child will be presenting; please bring this with you to make the check in process go as smooth and quickly as possible and we hope you can make it! These presentations will start at 1:15 pm on each day. The schedule is as follows: Grade 7 students will present on Monday, March 19. Grade 8 students will present on Wednesday, March 21. Grade 6 students will present on Friday, March 23.
