Science Olympiad
The 2017 Rhode Island Science Olympiad Tournament was held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Rhode Island College. Science Olympiad is a national program that was created to increase interest in science, and aims to teach science by involving students in active, hands-on activities that emphasize problem solving and the scientific process.

You Be The Chemist Challenge!
5 representatives from HHMS competed at the You Be The Chemist Challenge against students from the 3 other Cranston middle schools. The challenge is designed to test students on thier knowledge of general science and chemistry concepts, while fostering an interest in STEM career paths.

Congratulations to all the participants of our first annual school-wide Geography Bee. Our entire student body was on hand to watch our six finalists compete in this exciting event. The Hope Highlands school community participated in the GO ORANGE event for No Kid Hungry! Students donated to this great cause while wearing orange to show their support. Hope Highlands students were able to raise $375 for CCAP!

Hope Highlands Middle School welcomed a production of WORTH IT! Students learned that the choices they make today will directly affect their future. Students were taught to take control of the decisions they make, and that through perseverance and self-discipline, they can make the right choices - choices that will lead them to success in school and in life
